■ DAV National Commander Delphine Metcalf-Foster is scheduled to deliver the national commander’s annual testimonial at a formal dinner April 28 at the Pullman San Francisco Bay in Redwood City, Calif.

Rooms can be reserved at the special DAV rate of $149 per night. Call 650-598-9000 and ask for the “DAV national commander reception room block.” The cutoff for room reservations is April 5. On April 27, guests are invited for an outing aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train. Relax in lavishly restored vintage railcars as you travel through Napa Valley’s beautiful wine country. Tickets are $100 per person and require a $50 deposit. Send a check or money order to DAV Department of California Headquarters. Seats are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The testimonial dinner is April 28 and costs $50 per person.
